Hi all,

I have an iMac 24" that will not boot, well it does for like 4 seconds then turns off and restarts, but If I remouve all the ram it will boot but I get a beep, I put the ram that the iMac came in and lotos of other ram chips that I have and still nothing.
I have remouved the Graphics card as it is a MXM and it will boot for 4 seconds then restart and chime. But I cant use it as it has no GFX card, I have tryed a card from an iMac 24" white but all that hapends is that it will boot, restart then chime but nothing on the screen.
So do you think that it is the GFX card or Motherboard?

Thanks for any help.

Hi,

Thanks for that but I dont have any Apple warranty as it is a 2007 model. I hope that it is the graphics card as its got to be cheaper than a Logic Board.
