Today I upgraded from Catalina to Bug (that was a typo, but I like it!) Sur 11.1 and was annoyed to see that none of my cards were available in Apple Pay. Instead, there was this message:
I eventually figured out that I'd have to reboot into the Recovery partition and turn on "Full Security." Turns out I also had to re-enable System Integrity Protection. Only then were all my Apple Pay cards available for use.
However, the reason I had "Full Security" turned off in the first place is so I can boot the mac from a Windows 10 Bootcamp partition on an external SSD. With Full Security and SIP turned on, the computer complains that it can't "verify" the system.
So: Apple Pay insists that "Full Security" be turned on while my external bootcamp drive insists that it be turned off.
Is there a workaround to allow both to work (as they did in Catalina)?
