Big Sur 11.3 - Time Machine backing up on battery power

I have the option to backup while on battery power disabled, but since upgrading to Big Sur 11.3, Time Machine is making backup on battery power any way. I've tried toggling this and it still backs up.

Any idea what's wrong here?


Edit:

I figured it out. I had my iPad Pro 11 connected to my MacBook Air. For reasons that only Apple knows, the MacBook considers that being "on power" which would suggest the MBA is sucking power from the iPad Pro (which would be stupid). Once I disconnected the iPad, Time Machine stopped backing up automatically.
