Since updating, I find the sync of Airplay is appalling.
Before the update, it was perfectly OK (a very slight delay compared to an internal speaker but so little that I really didn't notice it unless I really concentrated).
Since update, it is awful. Just watching a YouTube video and it feels as if the audio is half a sentence behind.
Also takes a long time to switch to Airplay from internal speaker. It was always noticeable but now I have enough time to scratch my head, stand up, click randomly and then switch back to internal speaker before the Airplay speaker has started emitting any noise.
My usual speaker is a Roku Streambar. Even when I switch to a Homepod mini the sync is not good.
Obviously difficult to be sure, but it feels as if Airplay used to stumble a bit as it was connecting but then managed to adjust the sync when the sound was properly switched. But now, any delay from the stumble doesn't get adjusted out.
