Hey all,
Most of my cMP are happily chugging along on Mojave or Catalina using OC 0.70+, but I have one going out to a user that wants Big Sur - clearly sticking with 11.2.3 for the time being. I get the install done, boots fine, I do a time machine user migration, no problem - I set updates in System Prefs to not download, don't check, etc - yet after a few reboots the machine hits a boot loop. Looking at the drive from another machine it appears that the Macintosh HD partition is gone, though the Macintosh HD - Data partition is still there, and there is an "update" partition.
Did I not adjust the settings soon enough and it started to pre-stage an update? Or is there something else I'm just missing here? Any option for recovery besides just starting again?
