Anyone else loose the ability to connect to their USB-C monitor for video? It is connecting as its charging my mac, just nothing else.

Using a MacBook Pro 2018.
 
The first one was very stable for me, and now sometimes when I turn on the computer. It freezes!! I have to force it to turn it off. I'm using an iMac Pro.
