Hi
Wondering if this makes any sense to someone.
I have been working from home for some months using my Mac to log into remote PC at my employer’s office.
I use an HDMI cable to throw my desktop onto my TV. It has worked successfully.
i’ve upgraded to Big Sur and now I have signed on to the remote machine no problem but I cannot get the remote window to show on my TV. There is a signal going down the cable … but it shows my machine’s desktop, just the finder page with the colourful stripes that are the default Big Sur wallpaper…
Meanwhile on my laptop, I am looking at the remote workspace … chrome, incopy, the cms.
I can’t work like this but it’s just so much better working with that large text on the big screen. I have limited ability to blow up the windows on the remote machine and if I do that I’m restricting my view anyway.
any ideas on how I can get the right signal going down the HDMI cable?
