I've recently upgraded to Big Sur. I use Homebrew to manage application updates, so that I can get most of my app updates with a single command.

I have noticed with Big Sur, than when an app (cask) is updated via homebrew, it disappears from the dock. I have to manually re-add it to the dock. This did not happen with Catalina or earlier versions. The dock icon would remain through and after the homebrew upgrade process.

Has anyone else seen this behavior, or developed a workaround?
