Big Sur lags on Macbook Pro late 13' model

This thing lags sooo much its frustrating. It runs like a windows computer after owning it for two years. Anyone else experiencing this lag?
 
Yes, 2020 i5 MBP 13'' with 16GB.

I really, really hope they wil fix this and it's not the end of the line for Intel Macs.
