So, I've been through several videos that 1) Say that a Mid 2012 MacBook Pro with MAXED OUT components like mine (16gb crucial RAM and a 500gb internal Samsuns 860 Evo SSD drive, MORE than has the capabilities to handle macOS Big Sur. Which brings me to 2) I've been trying to use the patches, and even the easiest seeming tool, Ben Sova's Sur Patcher on GitHub, but I always get stuck transferring data. I just read for SSD drives it's best to format the USB flash drive to APFS. If I do do that, as oppose to macOS extended journal, will I be able to make a bootable version of Big Sur I can install and then patch? and if that's not how, could someone please advise? I wanna take advantage of the improvements Big Sur has to offer like porting iPhone apps to my MacBook Pro! Thank you to anyone who can help!
