iPod Bigger I-Pod Classic?

Any chance of a I-pod Classic larger than 160 GB?

I doubt it, but I, for one, would be happy to see a large SSD (256 perhaps) classic put on the market; some of us out there love our music and like the idea of being able to transport an entire iTunes library in one neat little device.

256 GB SSD is crazy expensive. Not going to get this for a very long time or if ever.

Too much, is the probable, and true (and yes, unwise, but it's my choice to spend my disposal income as I choose) answer.........

Actually, the other side of that coin is that I don't mind waiting; I don't doubt, that in the long run, or even the medium term, the price of SSD will come down.

Good grief, I can remember a friend in a cutting edge applied linguistics department (i.e. a pretty tech savvy lot with an interest in cutting-edge technological innovation) in my country's top university campus in the mid 1990s, showing me, in an awed tone, the first 1GB monitor possessed by the humanities sector. I have to admit I was suitably impressed - in those days, I owned a desktop computer with a HD memory of 80MB.......

Tempus fugit.....

It would be great and easy for Apple to do, but who knows? It's a pretty old product at this point.
