BigSur cannot access other HDs on my network but can access anything else attached

Im running 11.2 on a Late 2013 MacPro and can hook up to 2 other MacPros running High Sierra and can access everything but the Macintosh HD on these systems.
I get the error:
The operation can’t be completed because the original item for “Macintosh HD” can’t be found.

Any ideas?

Did you find a solution? I have a similar issue where my Snow Leopard drive is not visible in network browsing when the server-side machine is booted to Snow Leopard. When that machine is booted to High Sierra, the Snow Leopard volume is visible on network browsing.
