Hey y'all,

I am a college student doing an independent study of French 102 (yeah yeah, I know. I started 101 this past spring and I couldn't find anywhere that offered 102 in the summer). A lot of my notes that I write in Word are a mix of French and English. Is there any way to add French to Word? I don't want to change the language from English to French. I just want to have the ability to type in both English AND French. Anyone know if this is possible? Thanks!

Umm...what's preventing you from just typing as if it were French ? The accents are probably an issue but there are shortcuts for them.

Easy. In System Preferences, open Language & Text, go to Input Sources tab and under Select input methods to use select French. Also, check the Show Input menu in menu bar so you'll be able to access it easily.
