Birthday calendar not part of iCloud?

Before today I had all one unified calendar setup. Birthday calendar was part of the iCloud group.

Now as you can see it's now listed under "subscription".

Nothing too serious, just wondering why this happened all of the sudden.

I added a calendar again and it goes to the subscription level not iCloud. Could there be issues with iClouds calendar?
