I am relatively new to the Mac and have been setting up my contacts in address book and using iCal.
I need a way of remembering my family and friends birthdays and anniversaries. For birthdays I have managed to add a birthday field to contacts in my address books and they now show under a birthdays calendar in iCal.
My questions are how do I manage multiple peoples birthdays in a family, e.g. if i have an aunt and uncle with 2 children, do I have to create a contact for each to get their birthdays in iCal? Secondly, how then would I get my aunt and uncle's anniversary in iCal?
Am I heading in the right direction or should I be using another application to better achieve this?
