Hey guys,

I just got my MacBook from being repaired and i originally had Leopard on my machine. I Time machined it before i took it in because they were going to be replacing the HDD. I got it back and id had a clean install of tiger on it... I dont have my Leopard disc, It got thrown out by accident.

Is there any way of installing from my time machine disk without a copy of 10.5? I have the grey Tiger disks that came with my Mac if that helps.

BTW, i did try and get a copy off my mac store but i don't have proof i brought the copy of Leopard.

Thanks

Since Tiger didn't have Time Machine, the short answer is no.

There may be a way to sift through the Time Machine files on the backup, but it's not going to be pretty.

You need Leopard.
