Bitdefender reports virus in sparsebundles but not original disk

I run bitdefender every few months on my system. I have the boot drive and few externals. On one of the externals is a Superduper clone of the boot drive. Today when I scanned the system it showed a few Trojan.GenericKDxxxxx in the freshly cloned back buy the original boot drive shows up clean, Why? The viruses are i a folder called bands which I can not find on the sparsebundle. I did set the finder to show all hidden files. Does anyone have any insight to this.
