Pretty cool idea. Never even dawned on me to mod the quick reply.

anyone have the bubbles from the default sms app for the quick reply recents?

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/532.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.5 Mobile/8B117 Safari/6531.22.7)

Love the Red!!!

But I jus like the alternating colors to much!!!

Really cool though!!

no prob. i just threw it into GIMP {since i don't have photoshop anymore, ugh}, used the magic wand to select the outsiude, select invert {so it selected all of the bubble}, and did a red to black gradient. then just did the opposite direction for the other {red to black/black to red}

new to ssh

hey im new to ssh'ing into my iphone, and am not really sure what im doing.

I followed the above instructions but nothing was changed on the phone. i noticed inside the "stash" folder there are two of each folder, one with the folder name and the other with the folder name and a couple more letters. which folder do i go in to, to make the changes. ( i attached a picture of what i am talking about.)

On a side note, like i said i am new to ssh'ing, is there a tutorial on what to do, and how to do things in there. as you can see i have a very basic understanding of what to do and i would like to learn. thanks

1. unzip the files
2. copy the files
3. SSH into your phone
4. Go to Applications
5 Then go to Bite SMS
6. Then copy the files making sure they are not in a folder inside the Bite SMS folder.

you can also just drag and drop the files in there from my computer.

Everything worked great except the for the blue alerts popups. I ssh'ed the files into that folder and the other changes took effect.

I switched it to orange and blue to match my main sms theme. I think it looks good. I am still trying to figure out if I can make the text (in the previous texts) quick reply black but I have not had luck with that yet.

Same 4 me.

i am on 4.1

in 4.01 the bubble images are named something different.... i dont remebr what though.... just scroll the images and find them then rename the bubbles i put in the zip files to what it is in the phone and then replace them.

anyone know how to change the font color on the quick reply recent drop down window? i just want to the change the font color of the outgoing texts to black instead of white. thanks

really nice, thanks for the mod, but your incoming bubble was flipped the wrong way:D

i had to flip it horizontal to get it facing the right way

Did the same and also colored the pull arrows red instead of blue to match the bubbles. Good job though. +1
