BiteSMS 5.1 randomly crashes everytime I send a text?

As said in the title, EVERY single time I send a text from within the BiteSMS app, it crashes. It works fine in every other aspect, and doesn't do this in the QuickReply box. And it doesn't even affect the message being sent (it sends fine), it just crashes. It's just kind of annoying. Anybody else have this problem, or know a solution? I'm running 4.2.1 on an i4 with redsn0w and GP

I thought it was just me. I have a 3GS running 4.0.

Thats not necessarily true! I don't have a cracked version of anything and I have the exact same problem on my Iphone 4 (4.0.1). Mine does not do it every time but enough to where its bothersome!

Same here I have an iphone 4 and it does the same thing. Im running on 4.2.1
 
What do you guys mean you have the paid version? My trial expired in August 2010, and I'm still using it as I have before. Not cracked. It's from the original repo, Bigboss or ModMyI, I forget which one.
 
Something to try:

- Remove BiteSMS
- Reboot (not respring)
- Reinstall BiteSMS
- Reboot again.

I had an issue where FolderEnhancer was crashing Springboard when I first updated to 4.2.1. Simply removing and re-installing it fixed it.
 
i also have the free version on my 3gs. only installed it today.......
its froze up on me quite a few times too. but wen i reopen it its totally fine. i might get the paid version soon tho!
 
I was having this problem with the new version (5.2.1) after updating. I tried uninstalling and reisntalling and rebooting but it did not help. I uninstalled and installed 5.1-1 from that repo and that is working perfectly again. Hopefully a new version will be released to fix the SB crashes some people are experiencing but I will stick with 5.1-1 for now.
 
Current version out for everyone (not beta) is 5.1. The insanity one (5.1.1) is a hack. FYI. My 5.1 from Cydia works fine, no crashing.

agreed use the one when your first open cydia then click "featured" use the biteSMS in this menu, its the real version that wont give you problems and when it does you will have dev support, those others are hacks and when hacks dont work there is no support for them

the real one has a free version that just has ads

im not gonna get into the hacked apps is wrong bit but not sure why people expect hacks to work properly
