Lockinfo really shouldnt have any effect on quick compose of bitesms. When you hit the volume buttons, what happens? Need a little more info...

i have sms as a header for my lockinfo, so when i get a sms, i can tap it and have it open in bitesms, or quickcompose. this is in the sms plugin settings on lockinfo. but quickcompose does not work

The quick compose feature is activated by tapping one of the volume buttons. You should get the little square that say "lock screen - tap for bitesms QC". If you tap that square before it disappears, it will bring up a text window and you can choose who you want to send it to and compose the text.

The LockInfo header is a separate thing from the biteSMS QC. Yes, you can tap the current sms in LockInfo and it brings up the biteSMS QUICK REPLY (QR) window, but that is a completely different thing from the QC (again, brought up by the volume buttons). The QC is so you can compose a text right from the LS without unlocking the phone and when you don't have any other texts showing in the LockInfo SMS field.

Sounds confusing, I know. :D

Perfect explanation.

have no idea. Any way you can copy and past the info from ifile/config? then i can just copy and paste it into mine?

Tos, if you click on the link rick provided and then go back to page 125 (the previous page as I'm posting this) and post #3103, you'll see where I've asked for help changing the headers in LockInfo and cdrwinston and werdnerd gave me some great information to help me out.

Also, a bit further down page 125 (post #3117), I posted a download to the translucent_base we're using to make our LockInfo theme look like that. There's also instructions in my post to tell you how to do it.

I am mainly looking to make my clock/weather look similar to yours.

i understand that. I have native weather already installed. I like the look of the clock smaller and over to the left.... cant figure out how to achieive this.

Ah, ok. I'm using the stock iPhone clock, but I've got a LS theme called LS Below 2, but with the clock/date/and AMPM commented out in the code. I actually posted my modified version of it in the Post Your JailBroken Homescreen thread a 2 or 3 days ago. If you download that file and apply it through Winterboard and use the stock clock, you'll get the same look I've got.

*edit*

Here ya go. This is what I posted. But make sure you read my post and how to change the code back so you can display your wallpaper (unless you're still using iOS4.0 where you can set the wallpaper from the camera roll like I can).
