BiteSMS Hide Contact

I've been trying to get this feature to work, but no luck. I turn it on, double tap title bar, enter password, click edit, pick the contacts I want to hide and tap the privacy icon to activate it, click done, then double tap the title bar again to activate. Chosen contacts not hidden. Double tap title bar again and enter password, and the privacy icons are unchecked, like I never set it.

Anyone else have problems? iPhone 4 on iOS 4.2.1 JB with GP.

nevermind, it was an ownership or permissions issue on the biteSMS.db file in the User/Library. Changed from root:mobile to mobile:mobile, and permissions to 777 (overkill, i know), but it fixed it. bite couldn't write to the database.
