General Bitesms issue?

Got a 5s. When I send a quick reply to a non iOS device it'll say failed to send, but in the background it does send it as a text message. It just seems fragmented. Should be seamless right?

Hmm... I haven't had this problem while sending to a dumb phone. It's seamless for me.

Hmmm... I'm on 8.1 beta 7. Probably should update for starters.

Definitely update first and then report back. The latest beta version for 8.0 was 19 and it's now on 8.1 beta 7, there was probably a bunch of bug fixes since then
