Bitesms & notified pro ??

these 2 dont seem to work together

I want notified pro to show the message on the statusbar like it would for the native sms app or a push message from another app


I dont wanna use quicklist from bitesms


and can i change bitesms wallpaper background? without winterboard
 
I just found this out today, which is fairly disappointing. :/ I tried setting up a redirect, but that didn't seem to work either.
 
i really want this to work

cause i would like to see my old text messages without opening bitesms

i want notified pro to log the bitesms text messages
 
A Notified Pro developer just contacted biteSMS developers on their forum recently, so they may be working on a fix right now.

I would suggest asking on the biteSMS/Notified Pro forums as well.

Try this:

In Notified settings > redirections

From: com.apple.MobileSMS
To: com.bitesms


In BiteSMS settings > Unlock Screen

Incoming SMS Messages: check "show apple alert"

this works, but i cant reply from anywhere, it takes me to the app to reply,it removes the quickreply feature

I just wanna use notfied pro instead of quicklist"the bubble with the number inside in the statusbar"


i want notfied pro to log the messages & still have the quickreply from anywhere with bitesms

True. No quick reply. The dev did ask the bitesms devs for help to incorporate it (they were willing) a couple months ago. But no update on that as far as I know. I asked the Notified dev about it but no reply. This and fixing email would pretty much make Notified perfect (or good enough) for me.
 
Im kind of confused here. I have both apps, and they dont interfere? At least, not enough to bother me. The only time Notified Pro alerts me of an app is when I get a pic message, which is weird, but whatever. I just have my messages stack in that quick list that BiteSMS has.
 
Which is not what we are talking about.

We want Notified Pro to log messages through biteSMS and when we click the notification we want it to bring up the quick reply for biteSMS, much like Lockinfo does.
 
I've found that with Notified Pro, Grip, and Lock Info I don't have a need for BiteSMS any more. The pop up notifications are obtrusive and annoying.

It's too bad...I bought a BiteSMS license. Still a great app though.

What were you using Bite for exactly? Those 3 apps are only for notifications. There's many features they don't offer that Bite has.

The only thing I used BiteSMS for was Quick Reply. Quick compose is neat but not that much of a time saver.

If I'm busy or doing somehting on my phone...the notifications with notified/grip/lock info is perfect and unobtrusive. I can swipe down for lock info and hit the SMS message to go directly to the messaging app if I need to get there.

I've used both...and I think this is superior to ByteSMS, personally.
 
So you're saying leaving your current application to go the the mail application is better than staying in your first application and just reply/composing a message in a window?

I would have to disagree sir.
 
Any update on BiteSms working with Notified Pro? I have both and still not getting messages to show up on Notified Pro.
 
Notified Pro isn't working right for me on 4.3.1, when I swipe down from the statusbar instead of it opening up the notification panel it opens up the app.
