BiteSMS on 4.2.6 Buggy?

I was thinking of installing BiteSMS 5.2 on a Verizon iPhone jailbroke at 4.2.6. I've read some threads about BiteSMS 5.2 being buggy on 4.2.6 (safe mode, random closing, etc.).

Is anyone running this successfully on 4.2.6? I'm not running any other Cydia apps.

i thought that too...but i went ahead and upgraded to 4.2.8 on my mac. everything is super.

I was talking about BiteSMS version 5.2, Verizon iOS 4.2.6 for clarification. I have always had good results with devteam jailbreaks, so I am still waiting for their 4.2.8 compatible jailbreak.

You could always get the beta Bite, it works better than the current stable release as far as I know. I'm using the latest beta on 4.2.1 and everything seems fine.
