I installed Bitesms and now have an icon at the status bar saying -whatevernumber and I can't figure out how to get rid of it. I think it's Bitesms that it's appeared with....

Not sure - Looks like a numeric wifi/GSm value? I have that with the new SBSettings.
 
It looks like you've selected an SBSettings option to display numeric wifi signal strength.

Looks like numeric signal strength to me....just like everyone else said.

Either SBSettings or you somehow managed to put your phone into field test mode.

I am very curious to know why you decided to blame BiteSMS... I am for real...very curious. :confused:
