Bitmap to ASCII convertor - having a hard time finding one

I used to have a 6100 but sadly nothing of that remains, not even the HD. That's annoying because I had this nice little application which converted images to ASCII. I can't for the life of me remember what the app was called and my searches are not turning up anything useful yet.

Any ideas? I have a G5 so a Classic app is fine.

Do you mean images to text? If so search for OCR (optical character recognition)

Or this which is a website http://www.degraeve.com/img2txt.php that you would need to point at your image online or this http://text-image.com/ same thing or this http://www.glassgiant.com/ascii/

try "image to text" or "ascii art" as search rather than "image to asciii" then you get lots of hits
