So just noticed the option to convert my music that goes to my iphone4 to 128k... Wondering if this is to save space or what other reason might there be? Most of my songs are 250k-320k so is the higher bitrate noticeable on an iPhone or is it just wasting space?

It's to save space. Most of us can't tell the difference between 128 and something higher, but if you're picky about sound, you should leave it as is. I saved around 4-6 GB when I had a 16 GB.

Thanks for the fast response. Will just keep my higher songs the way they are until I start running out of space. QQ about not having a 64gig iPhone avail

converting to 128 made my music go from 17gigs down to 12gigs without any noticeable drop in quality thru decent headphones or a decent stereo. It may make a difference on a really high end stereo but if your listening to one of those the source should be analog and not digital anyway.
