I recently (an hour ago) upgraded my DSL line to the 15mb FIOS from Verizon. I have gone in and configured the router for port forwarding and even went as far as UPnP just to make sure it wasn't something i did. The ports check in clear for both Transmission .7 and Azureus. The problem is that I am getting a connection error in Azureus and cannot connect to any peers in any BT application.

Is there something about FIOS that is preventing this? Is Verizon filtering BT traffic? I just want to know if anyone else has BT problems with FIOS.

Couple things to try before you decide Verizon's ****ing with you:

1) Turn on transport encryption in Azureus.

2) Try a couple other torrents (on different trackers).

I know a couple people who're on FIOS and haven't had any troubles. The connection wizard in Az is telling you your port is reachable?

1. I already had it on which is what stymied me.
2. I am actually trying to find a well-seeded torrent as we speak. I thought it might have been that since I really only use 1 tracker.

Yes, the connection tests in both Az and Transmission .7b is telling me I'm in the clear.
