Bittorrent: Bits on Wheels, azureus ports

I have recently started to use bits on wheels over Azureus because of how little memory it takes up. I do feel Bits doesnt open up as many ports like Azureus does causing the download speed to be lacking. Does any one know how to get fast download speeds with Bits on wheels or another program similiar other then Azureus? Thanks for your help.

I don't know what your talking about.. Azureus only uses one port. Also, nearly all recent, good, bit torrent clients use one single port.

I recently trashed both those programs and replaced all my torrent programs with just one.

Transmission.

I rarely need to download a single file out of many, and transmission is so much lighter and simpler and just....better.
