So, I'm using Transmission to download a 13 GB Torrent. Both the torrent file and the thing being downloaded are on my desktop. Currently, I'm at 4.2 GB.

I shut down my computer after it froze earlier. When I turned it back on, I resumed downloading the file by double clicking on the .torrent file. Instead of resuming the download, it restarted it at 0%. I checked the file on my desktop, and it's still at 4.2 GB, so nothing was deleted. How do I resume the one I started?

Make sure Transmission's pointing to the same download location, and then it should automatically resume seeding. If not, try opening the file in Azureus, just to verify that the data's actually there and not corrupt or anything. Oh, and try opening Transmission instead of clicking on the .torrent.
