Hey all,

I have a strange question regarding an Airport. It comes from my boss, and I'm stumped.

He has his base station in the same room as both his imac and powerbook, and the room is carpeted.

Everything works fine, except, EVERY SINGLE THURSDAY his airport won't work after his cleaning service comes by. The only thing they do in the room is vacuum.

They don't unplug the airport station - the computers are left on all the time, on sleep mode.

Could it have something to do with static electricity from the vacumming? Anything he can do?

Usually it starts working again after he "messes around" with it for a while, unplugging the station and plugging it back in, etc.

Any ideas?

Thank You!

Andy

Is the AirPort plugged into a filtered power strip? If it is, make sure the vacuum isn't plugged into the strip as well. And if it isn't, get a decent filtered power strip and plug the AirPort into it.
