Bizarre behavior on Lion here...

The back and forward buttons are, strangely enough, volume and eject icons, but still function like back and forward. There are annoying spots in the top corner of the window. And, finally, the menu bar is all wack.

This is because (I guess) I had Obsidian Menu Bar on previously, and when I upgraded to the latest Lion, it started happening. I tried to uninstall it, but no help there. Then I tried installing it again. Nope. The weird thing is that I don't see how the Obsidian Menu Bar can mess with the back and forward buttons.

HALP!

did you upgrade from the mac store or did you do a clean install?

I experienced a lot of unusual behavior when doing a mac store upgrade, but am running like water since doing a clean install.

Updated via Software Update. I already had Lion, and the Obsidian Menu Bar, and when I updated to the latest, the problems came up.

I'd like to clean install, but I have no backup drive, or even USB stick. I'd like to backup my Garageband files and what's in my iTunes.
