I have an annoying problem with garageband, the loops seem missing.

When i search them using finder, the pc cannot find them in the users/library/audio map

But when i use spotlight the same directory is actually there.

I think the garageband problem is alike of my problem in finder.

Anyone having a solution.

I'm quite a mac newbie, so i guess i did something wrong.

I accidentaly dropped some aliasses in that directory, i'm now busy deleting them, but i don't think that causes my problem

Are you sure you have the right Library. Every user has a Library, but also the main system has one. /Library for the system, while the users are /Users/user name/Library. Make sure you have the correct one. As for Garage band, I believe it will use the main system (/Library) for its audio files so that its avaliable for everyone. I don't have my Mac on me but this is a guess at why you are lost in finding these files.
