I've been having some very strange color distortions happening ever since I started using my new M1 Mini connected to an LG Ultrafine via the primary USC-C port, and an AOC U32V3 connected via HDMI. They occur regardless of which monitor the window is on, and primarily when using a web browser — they come up on a regular basis using Chrome, and occasionally when using Firefox (latest builds of both). I haven't seen it happen using Safari. They also tend to happen most often using Amazon — which is why the examples primarily come from there.
The resemble what the screen used to look like when old analog RGB cables would go bad.
The Mini and monitor are brand-new, the Mini has nearly nothing installed outside of the base Big Sur config, and anything installed was checked to be M1-native — with the exception of one app, which is escaping me. I cannot recall if these issues existed before Rosetta had to be installed.
I can't imagine I'm the only one with this setup; this makes me hope I'm not the only one with the problem (and ideally, solution) though several forum searches did not reveal anything (both here and the M1 forum).
See attached examples. Hopefully, someone knows what's happening here.
