Hi guys,
I'd really appreciate all and any advice on the following:
I tried to attach my macbook pro late 2007 pre santa rosa chip set to my imac of the same vintage. (Both snow leopard) The firewire connection didn't mount the macbook pro on the desktop of the imac. Instead, nothing.
I rebooted the macbook pro, and the keyboard and mouse button were unresponsive. So, I screen-shared to get control of the macbook pro from the imac and launched onyx. Onyx identified start up problem.
I restarted with the repair disk (holding down c) ran utilities and disk repair.
It repaired issues.
Restart same problem. 20 mins later keyboard and mouse button start to work. I try to mount external firewire lacie hub it wont mount. I perform a restart again, keyboard and mouse button once more not working.
I also zapped the pram, NADA.
Any assistance on this would be good karma.http://images.macrumors.com/vb/images/icons/icon7.gif
