Bizarro Panther Problem!

Hi peeps,

I have an issue with Panther that is marginally irritating, but not too bad. Basically, for some bizarre reason, some of my icons on my desktop are displayed twice. It isn't always the same icon either, and sometimes it might be a folder, sometimes a file.
Any ideas??

PS. Did anyone spot the Sealab 2021 reference in the title?
