I'm quite new posting in this Photography forum here. I went back a few pages and couldn't find anything dedicated to Black and White photography which I think is a shame. So I'm starting this Topic. Please only post Digital Black and White photos here. I will start another Topic for scanned film Black and White photos. Please add a description to tell us a bit about your photo.

So, to kick things off, these are some old sheds I came across in a town called Yankalilla. Being old and built from corrugated iron they really have no colour so perfect for some Black and White treatment. I processed these with Nik Silver Efex.

I know, I know...my wife said..."You're not taking a picture of those, are you?". :D
My mother lined dried most of our clothes and sheets for years. Nothing better than line dried sheets. But she did soft cotton stuff (tshirts, undergarments, etc.) in the dryer. Pants, jeans, oxford style shirts all went on the line. I miss it. I did line dry some stuff at my first house, but our neighborhood here is pretty, well, neighborly, and I don't need everyone seeing our clothes out once a week!

We definitely don't do "delicates" for the neighbors to see, but in general, love to do our sheets and jeans. Nothing better.

We outdoor line dry absolutely everything here 12 months of the year. We have a dryer but it only gets used in emergencies.

I went to a Sony trade show in Sydney in September last year. This is a model in a small studio setup they had there to tryout some of their lenses.

The texture and contrast really highlight what makes the buildings special. You've got a great eye for detail, and I especially love how the shadows add to the overall vibe.
