Black and White Silent Mickey Mouse

Hello,

I just got back from a garage sale where I found a movie projector called Keystone Moviegraph.

From what I can tell it is 8mm. They guy said it has an old black and white Mickey Mouse cartoon on it. The film is really fragile, but I was able to take it off.

I'm just wondering if you all think its worth taking the film to get restored?
And how much that would cost.

The projector still works and I would love to watch the short but I dont want to ruin it.

I looked on line for projectors but can not find the exact.

I don't imagine the film restoration would be cheaper, but it might be worth it if the film is worth a lot of money. I'd try and find someone to appraise the film for you.

Ok them, hit the deck and do 50 pushups and 100 situps. That should assuage any Calvinistic vestiges of being worthy to make money.

Well, have someone appraise it and if it's worh anything see if you can loan it to a museum or historical society on the condition that they pay for the restoration (or something).
