In a number, practically all, advertisements about the "Aperture" software, one sees a b l a c k interface. Would be grateful for any hint about how to "convert" from the grey to black, thanks! Oeksen37+
 
Maybe you're thinking of full screen mode. Highlight a photo, type the F key on your keyboard. You should be in fullscreen mode. Type H if you want to see the HUD....
 
Other than full-screen, if you're looking for more blackness in the rest of the UI, go to Preferences (Cmd-,) and set Viewer Background Brightness and/or Grid View Background Brightness to 0%.

That'll make Aperture about as black as it can get (without third party hacks/themes, anyway)...
