black background with purple color at the bottom

I am having this issue whenever there is a full black background or even when viewing youtube with the black bottom there is a purple color down at the bottom of the screen.
is this a problem or is it common thing.
I have macbook pro 13 (2010)

it can't be shown in a screen shot and it is only seen at a certain angle.
any ideas and does anyone have the same thing?

Take a picture of it. I've never heard of it happening.
