I cant get an iphone around here the only close thing would be a BB Storm or a Samsung Omnia (bleh).

Their seems to be 2 black berry plans help me understand them. Do I just need one or both of them to surf the net, access the black berry store, and receive and send emails.

Black Berry Plans

1) Monthly Fee Data Included
$15 2MB
$25 1GB
$60 3GB
$75 Unlimited

2) BlackBerry Internet & E-mail & IM Plans

Monthly Fee Included
$15.00 Unlimited E-mail and Instant Messaging*

$30.00 Unlimited E-mail and Instant Messaging* and internet

Buy the $25/1GB plan. You likely won't use more than that per month, unless you're tethering (which might require a specific plan). 1GB of data will cover all your data uses, unlike the $30 "unlimited" plan which only covers browsing, email, and IM.

$25/1GB is good, you made me laugh with $15/2MB :p

You only need the top ones to surf the net, check e-mail, etc. The others let you IM an e-mail only.

I have an Omnia and love it!

Takes some getting used to, but in some ways I prefer it over an iPhone!

This is the reason why I think the iPhone forum should become the "iPhone & Other Mobile Devices" forum or similar.

@ OP: I agree with the others, $25 for 1GB plan :)

TO : adamerr

i agree as it would bring in more people and make the forum look more clean.

But this is the MacRumors forums. Should the iPod forum be "iPods & other MP3 players"? Or the MacBook forum be "MacBook and other consumer laptops"?

Maybe it's just the way I think, but if I needed help with a BlackBerry (as I did when I used to have one), I'd probably register with a BlackBerry community, where I know they'd be able to easily and surely answer all of my question.

Obviously its taboo to talk about other products on a Mac website.

I agree though, a Blackberry forum would be the best place to ask (as it is guaranteed that most on a Blackberry forum would have a Blackberry) but just because this is MacRumors doesn't mean that everybody that post uses the Apple equivalent of everything.

Inclusive community geez.
