So I'm pretty sure I already know the answer to this one.. but.. I dropped my macbook air (newest model) while it was in a case, inside of a sleeve in my computer bag no less, from prob a foot or two off the ground and now the bottom right hand portion of my screen has several black circular blotches and there is generally a darker coloration to the bottom right corner of the screen.
Based on what I have read in the forums, I'm assuming my only choice to fix this would be to get a new screen? I know Applecare doesn't cover it, but I do have a three year geek squad warranty on it.

The reason I am posting is to see if there is any type of fix I might be able to try or a simpler repair because
a) I'm a student and have next to no money
b) I've had this thing all of six weeks.

I can't believe my luck either.. my friend has had a MBA that she has dropped at least a half dozen times without ill effect...

I've read estimates of $700 from apple.. so obvious I wont be doing that as I paid $1000 for the machine.. dunno what geek squad would offer though
