I have a 3g jailbroken on t-mobile. One night my phone ran out of battery so I plugged it in, went to turn it on and the apple would come up and then shut off. I guess this is the black death screen, correct me if I'm wrong. So I looked around and the only option I found that would fix this is a restore. I go to restore and it says to use a sim without a pin code. I have the tmobile sim in, I don't have my att sim anymore, and it won't let me restore. Now my question is if I go buy an att sim will it restore and can I just jailbreak it after that and everything will be ok ?

If you remove the SIM card BEFORE the resotre process it should restore fine, Make sure you restore to a FW with an Unlockable Baseband, re-Jailbreak, Re-Unlock, slip your T-Mob SIM in and everything should work fine
