Black Dock for iPhone 3G

Does anyone know if there are any plans to make a black dock for the iPhone 3G?

A white dock with the black iPhone seems a bit stupid looking to me..

What do you reckon? Do you think any 3rd party companies will make one?

Knowing me I would mess it up!! Can't believe apple haven't thought people might want black instead of white!!

Probably be a different shade too.. Can't see me getting a perfect finish.

I dont understand what the issue is with changing the colour of the dock to black and why apple won't consider it. Especially seeing as you have to pay for the dock now.

White is the color of Apple. While it would be nice for them to make docks that coordinate with the colors of the devices, Apple wants to keep everything consistent - white cables, white earbuds, white docks, white power adapters for the MB and MBP...
