I have a black iphone 4s and im going to the apple store because the battery has probs. and software has glitches will they let me have a white one if they replace it???

My girlfriend just tried to do this after having problems with hers, the workers response was "no, we only do part for part replacement." still may be worth asking though. Good luck.

I got it the day it came out:confused::apple:

Do you think they will replace it with a battery problem

Absolutely not. Why?, I don't know. But I tried to do it with my daughters phone and got a straight up No way. It didn't really bother me but I got into a discussion about why he was so quick to say no. He said that under no circumstances are they allowed to do a replacement for a different color. He even admitted it was a strange rule, but one that was strictly enforced.

It's a different model, SKU. Why would they swap your iPhone model for a different model for free? Think about it. It doesn't even hurt the inventory. Why? Because it's still the same phone. A black iPhone is not labeled the same as a white iPhone. Same goes for the 16GB & the 32GB. It's common sense guys.
