We're officially in Black Friday week, and deals have begun in full force on Amazon and other retailers online. If you're looking for Apple products, our dedicated post on all the Apple Black Friday deals available now covers every Apple device on sale right now. In this article, we're focusing on accessories for smartphones and computers, as well as a few extras like LEGO sets on sale.

Highlights of the sale includes Eufy's popular SmartTrack Card, which is down to $16.88 for Black Friday, down from $29.99. This device is Apple Find My-compatible and is slim enough to fit in a wallet. Twelve South's HiRise 3 Deluxe is also back on sale for $119.99, down from $149.99, and it provides simultaneous charging for an iPhone, AirPods, and Apple Watch.

There are plenty more deals in this sale, including a huge collection of Jackery portable power stations at their best ever prices. We're also tracking an array of Logitech computer accessories, including mice, keyboards, and webcams. Some of these sales will require you to clip an on-page coupon, but for the most part all of these deals have been applied automatically on Amazon.

Just want to point out, it's a little misleading to mention deals of the Samsung T9 series on this site because no Mac can take advantage of "USB 3.2 Gen 2x2" 20gbps speeds, which is the reason it costs extra than the 10gbps "USB 3.2 Gen 2" Samsung T7 series, which is $149 on amazon currently.

(Yes, the people who came up with these USB names should go to jail. No, a 40+ gbps Thunderbolt port doesn't help you get 20gbps USB speeds.)

I got the Jackery Explorer 1000 for an additional $50 off, plus a free Jackery Explorer 100. Can’t wait to get them!!!

Hasn't much of 2024 been a perpetual Black Friday Sale?

Even with great prices, how much additional cash do retailers really expect to wring out of consumers?

Thank you for the information. That’s… a confusing mess (the USB standards), but you explained it well and simply.

So if someone wants faster than 10gbps speeds, go for a Thunderbolt 3/4 SSD (or USB 4)? Is that right?

Yeah. They tend to be outrageously expensive, unfortunately, and a lot of them are thermally constrained, so it never seemed to be worth the drama unless you had a really specific use case. (10gbps, after all, is quite fast.)

Thank you again for the additional information.

I am in the market for an external drive. I was considering a USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 drive, but you thankfully informed everyone about the limitations on the Mac. And thanks to your advice about the Thunderbolt drives, it seems like going for a cheaper 3.2 Gen (not 2x2) drive might be the best option. As you said: 10 gbps is still quite fast.
