Does anyone remember if Apple cuts off prices even for peripherals like the Magic Trackpad during Black Friday ? I live in Italy and couldn't get the discounts from any other reseller (i.e. Best Buy or others) because we don't have them over here ...

Unfortunately, based on past sales, Apple does not discount peripherals such as the Magic Trackpad. They usually only discount whole systems (Macs, iPads, etc). However, often times, 3rd party retailers will discount Apple peripherals, but this may not help you much since you live in Italy and it can be difficult/impossible to order from them.

Sorry to argue on that Bryan... I've bought a Magic Trackpad in 2011 and it was discounted. The price was 10 CHF less...
