Looks like apple will be giving out gift cards instead of discounts tomorrow.

I bought my mac last Saturday. Do you think I can go in and get one still?

I would try - or just return and repurchase. I think Apple is smart enough to realize they should extend this deal to those who have product that would qualify and are still in the return period.
