Similar to years past, one of the best deals going on this Black Friday revolves around discounts on the App Store and iTunes gift card, allowing you to snag some expensive cards at a slight discount and apply it to your Apple Music subscription, movie and book purchases, and much more. For this reason, we've decided to round up some of the places that are offering nice discounts on App Store and iTunes gift cards today.

Note: MacRumors is an affiliate partner with some of these vendors. When you click a link and make a purchase, we may receive a small payment, which helps us keep the site running.

We've noted the retailer, discount amount, and whether the card is physical or delivered via email in the list below, all of which are in stock as of writing:

- PayPal Digital Gifts on eBay: $100 for $85 (email)
- Amazon: $100 for $85 with promo code ITUNES15 (email)
- Target: Buy one get one 30 percent off (email)
- Best Buy: Buy one get one 30 percent off (physical)
- GameStop: buy one get one 20 percent off (physical, in-store only)
- Costco members: $200 for $180, $100 for $90, and $25 for $22.50 (email)

As an example, the BOGO 30 percent off deals (when purchasing two cards of the same amount) will break down like this:

- Buying two $15 iTunes Gift Cards = $25.50
- Buying two $25 iTunes Gift Card = $42.50
- Buying two $50 iTunes Gift Card = $85
- Buying two $100 iTunes Gift Card = $170

Sam's Club is one of the major retailers that had an iTunes gift card deal, but it's out of stock online now. The deal was $84.47 for an iTunes card multipack that totaled $100. Also of potential note for frequent Walgreens shoppers: the retailer has a deal where you can get a $10 Walgreens gift card when you buy a $30 or $50 iTunes gift card.

What about outside US? Particularly the UK for instance.

I saw some of the earlier deals on this site, $250 for a 2017 iPad, absolutely nothing like that here in the UK. You US people get some amazing deals over there on Black Friday, jealous :)

The Walgreens deal is by far the best, if you simply use the Walgreen gift cards to buy more iTunes cards.

I did this yesterday with no issues at all. $240 worth of iTunes for $170. Plus I have a $10 Walgreens card leftover. Over 29% off not counting the extra Walgreens money.

It was easy and the cashiers were happy to have me do it. Just bring the $30 (3x$10) pack of iTunes to the register with a blank Walgreens gift card. Tell them to put $10 on the Walgreens card. Their system automatically made the $10 Walgreens card free after both were scanned. (I was told I had to enter my phone number into their terminal for this to work, so I did that for each checkout, but not sure if it was truly required.)

Limit is 2 per transaction.

Yep, you could always find ideal somewhere not so long ago, now I haven't seen a UK promotion for ages.

So you bought seven $30 iTunes gift cards for $240 and got $70 back (in the form of seven, $10 gift cards). And if two per transaction, you did 4 separate transactions?

5 separate transactions actually.

Transaction1: 2x $30pack (=$60 total + 2x $10 WG GC)
Transaction2: 2x $30pack (=$60 total + 2x $10 WG GC)
Transaction3: 2x $30pack (=$60 total + 2x $10 WG GC)
Transaction4: 1x $30pack (=$30 total + 1x $10 WG GC)
Transaction5: 1x $30pack (=$30 total + 1x $10 WG GC)

Always using WG GC to reduce price of next transaction. Transaction 5 leaves you with 1x $10 WG GC left over.

This worked perfectly. This wasn't listed in our Ad because we get a different one here in Alaska. The cashier said,"oh cool, I'll be buying one tonight" I plan to go back tomorrow and buy some more. Thanks

this is the best deal. not sure how you calculated 29% savings but I am getting well over 40% when you do the following. will give it a try tonight. do they sell $20 iTunes gift cards and can you do the transactions during the same visit?

I’m here at a Walgreens and it’s not working. Trying both $30 and $15 iTunes cards. They looked it up and we can’t find this offer anywhere online. Do you have a link? Was it one day only or something?

Your way is correct, and is slightly better than mine assuming they sell $20 iTunes cards, but your 40% math is a bit off. Your way is just over 30% savings.

I found the offer on page 3 of my weekly ad. Works on $30/multi pack and $50 quantities. https://slickdeals.net/?adobeRef=3b7436e8d15311e7846752d99aef8a320000&sdtid=10897907&sdop=1&sdpid=107905803&sdfid=9&lno=1&trd=https www walgreens c wbr om off&pv=&au=&attr_track=Meta:Checkout:not eligible&u2=https://www.walgreens.com/offers/offers.jsp?view=weeklyad#/weeklyad

Ah after much frustration here in the store we determined it’s not available here in SoCal. You guys are lucky out there in Kansas!

I've been curbing my purchasing on the App Store, but man, back around 6 years ago when I was still in the thick of buying new things for iOS, it really did feel like Christmas when I got a iTunes gift card whose value is noticeably greater than what I paid for it! Glad to hear these are still going on.

That sucks. For the record, I'm in north Texas and it's working here. And here is the offer from Page 3 of our weekly ad.

I put all my iCloud, Netflix and Apple Music on these, so it's real money to me. I'll take 30% off Netflix anyway.

Dollar general had then at 20% off this year on thursday. Didnt have to jump through a bunch off hoops either.

Yep. Netflix is what makes discount iTunes cards worthwhile. I switched my Netfiix to App Store billing for this reason.

The Best Buy site just cancelled my order, saying they couldn't verify me. I have a Best Buy CC Card that I was using too, so an additional 5%. I did order the Target version with my Target Card but they all seem to only allow you to do the order once, so if you ordered 4 gift cards, they only did the Buy one Get one 30% off on the first ones. I might try Target again to see if I can do it again. I have Apple Match, Apple Music, Hulu Plus, Netflix, so it is nice to get them for 15% off.

Here in the Midwest, regional grocery chain Meijer had $25 cards for $20 (20% off) on Thanksgiving. Limit three cards per transaction, but I was able to do multiple back to back transactions to buy as many as I wanted...

I was able to do it more than once on the Target website. But only 2 at a time. The drop down for quantity stops at 3, but with BOGO, 3 doesn't make sense.

That's where I got mine. I didn't like that DG won't let you buy gifts cards with debit or credit cards, only cash.

The Walgreens stores around here won't let you buy a bunch of the free $10 gift card deal.
