Usually nothing too impressive, for only one day.

IIRC, it's typically what you'd expect to pay with an education discount.

Yeah, that is definitely a no.

This is not totally correct. Last year people were able to order through the Apple Education Store and receive the same Black Friday sale amount off that the regular Apple store had, but applied to the original education price. Only for certain items though. It's certainly worth taking the time to check.
